At this very moment seven Dons supporters are walking through Speyside raising money for the AFC Community Trust. The team of Mark Wilson, Darren Gray, Iain Landsman, Keith Strachan, Graham Mutch, Bob Mutch, Eric Harper and Kenny McNeil have set a target of £5,000 that would go towards the excellent work being done at AFCCT.

Last year, Mark coordinated a group of walkers to complete the West Highland Way, which raised over £8,000. All the walkers this year have been involved in various projects with AFCCT including Walking Football, Football Fans In Training over the years and this one may be the most challenging yet with the aim to cover 106 miles in five days.

The Speyside Way trail follows the River Spey through Banffshire, Moray and Inverness-shire with the guys being able to take in some of the most picturesque scenes in Scotland. You can follow the walkers journey on the AFCCT Facebook page follow the link below if you would like to donate to the Justgiving Page. So far over £2,500 has been raised as the walkers approach their final day.

Well done to all involved and good luck for the final hurdle.
