Vacancy: IT Support Apprentice
Aberdeen Football Club is a high-profile institution in the North East of Scotland with an impressive heritage of domestic and international achievements since the Club was established in 1903, including the ‘golden era’ in the mid-1980’s under the direction of Sir Alex Ferguson.

It is a very exciting time to be involved with the club and we have a vacancy for an IT Support Apprentice to join the IT department.
Reporting to the IT Manager, and working closely with the IT Support Analyst, the successful applicant will be providing first line technical support to end users on a range of different solutions. The role is an apprentice position, so full training will be provided as well as the opportunity to complete a Modern Apprenticeship, funded by Skills Development Scotland.

Applicants should be self-motivated and have an enthusiasm for technology. They should also be willing to undertake a SCQF Level 6 Diploma in IT Support and complete Microsoft Technical Associate certifications in Networking, Security and Windows Server. Applicants should also have good experience of using the Microsoft Windows operating system and have good technical ability.
As this is an apprenticeship, full funding will be available to 16 – 19 year olds and would therefore suit a school leaver.
This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week as well as matchdays. The salary for this role is circa £11,000 per annum.
Interviews for this role are expected to start week commencing 9th of July 2018.
