Following the sad passing of club legend Neale Cooper yesterday, chairman Stewart Milne commented:

“Neale was one of the nicest guys you could hope to meet and, latterly through his work with our club sponsors Saltire Energy, was a regular at Pittodrie on match days.

“He will be desperately missed by everyone connected with the club and my thoughts at this horrible time are with his family. However, the enjoyment he gave to so many and the memories he has left can never be taken away and that is something Aberdeen fans everywhere will cherish.”
