TRAVELLING TO THE GAME

Please check with Traffic Scotland and local radio stations for the latest updates on the traffic and roads. Be aware that there are road works around Perth which may slow your journey in that area. Plan to leave early to account for delays.

Please note that from 8pm on Friday 13 April until 6am on Monday 16 April, the B979 at Stonehaven will be closed for surfacing works at the new roundabout.  There will be no access to the A90 either north or southbound from the B979 (Netherly Road) during these times.  There is also no access to Stonehaven from the B979.  Supporters travelling south and intending to use the B979 should follow the diversion along the B9077, South Deeside Road and onto the A90 at Bridge of Dee.   The north slip from the A90 onto the B979 at Stonehaven is also closed this weekend and the northbound diversion via the B9077 should be followed.

ACCESS/EXIT ROUTES

Persons attending events at Hampden Park should be aware that the area surrounding the stadium is mainly residential and the availability of on-street parking is extremely limited.

On event days, Police Scotland’s advice to persons attending Hampden Park is to use public transport to get to and from the stadium, if not travelling by organised coach/bus.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Detail with regard to getting to and from the stadium can be found on the following websites:

Hampden Park:

Scotrail:

Additional carriages and services run both pre and post event, Motherwell supporters should use Kings Park and Aberdeen Supporters should use Mount Florida train stations, both being a short walk from the stadium.

ScotRail have announced that due to work on the lines between Dundee and Perth, a replacement bus service will be in place between the cities. This will lengthen any train journey. Trains travelling to Glasgow will be “dry” trains and alcohol will not be permitted.
