AFC Community Trust Day
Aberdeen v Dundee, Saturday 17th March
Pittodrie Stadium, Aberdeen

We are delighted to announce that our match with Dundee at Pittodrie on Saturday 17th March has been designated as this season’s AFC Community Trust Day!

To celebrate the ongoing success of our partner charity we are encouraging all AFC, and indeed AFCCT supporters to turn out for this match in support of The Dons with a bumper attendance at Pittodrie.

Furthermore, in a bid to engage community groups, schools, sports teams and AFCCT participants an additional 500 free tickets will be made available. We are inviting applications for those tickets so if you fit into any of the above categories and are interested please contact ticketoffice@afc.co.uk

Aberdeen FC Community Trust (AFCCT) was established as the official partner charity of AFC in March 2014, “To provide support and opportunity to change lives for the better” throughout the North East. Over the past four years the scale of the work being carried out throughout our City and Shire has continued to grow with over 17,000 participants now engaged in over 60 programmes and initiatives.

Ally Prockter, Aberdeen FC Community Trust’s Chief Executive said, “Since we started out as a registered charity in 2014 we have been working hard to enhance our profile and really get the word out there about what we do so occasions like AFCCT Day are invaluable for us.

“Last year I think everyone had great fun in the week of the match and on the day itself and importantly the team got the three points too! I think if we can repeat that again this year everyone will be delighted.”

On the day and throughout the week of the match AFCCT will enjoy an increased profile throughout with various activities taking place to spread the community spirit and feel-good factor generated by our partner charity.

AFC Chief Executive Duncan Fraser added, “As our partner charity AFCCT deliver enormous benefit throughout Aberdeen City and Shire and AFCCT Day is really about recognising the work that the staff and volunteers do and raising awareness.

“In addition to raising awareness we are also committed to donating £1 for every match ticket purchased so that more excellent work can be done in the community.”

Tickets for this match will be available for Stand Free Members from Friday 23rd February and on general sale from Saturday 24th February via afc.co.uk/eTickets, from the Pittodrie Ticket Office and by calling 01224 63 1903.
