AFC fully supports the initiative and look forward to welcoming you all to Pittodrie a colourful end to 2017.

So look out your flags for the match. Old, new, red, white – it’s up to you!

A large crowd is expected and tickets for the match remain available online, over the phone by calling 01224 63 1903 and from the Pittodrie Ticket Office.

If you are looking to bring a flag to the match please adhere to the guidelines below.

Most flags and banners are allowed providing:
• They do not cover advertising boards or similar
• They do not block the view of others
• They do not block any exits routes or signs
• They do not create a safety hazard
• They are not offensive or abusive in content
• They do not create conflict between supporters

Flags larger than 2 metre by 1 metre should be fire retardant and carry the appropriate labelling. A test certificate may be requested before being allowed into the stadium. Surfing flags are not permitted in the stadium. Poles that may be used as a weapon or that could compromise public safety are not permitted (SPFL/SFA Ground regulation No 11) i.e. above 1.2 meter in length and or more than 7 mms in diameter.

A final decision on suitability will be made by the Event Safety Officer should it be necessary. Supporters are asked to e-mail feedback@afc.co.uk if unsure about the suitability of their flag/banner.

If flags are deemed unsuitable they will not be allowed in. The club cannot store flags and any offensive flags may be retained by Police Scotland.
