Reis Webster has picked up the October monthly award for players at the U13s – U17s age groups. 

The U15 player who only joined the Academy at the end of last season is currently the leading goal scorer for the age group and added another 8 goals in 4 games last month.  Having played in all Club Academy Scotland fixtures during October his highlights included scoring 4 goals against Partick Thistle along with hitting the last minute winner against an English U16 side who travelled north during the school holidays. 

Gavin Levey, the club’s Head of Academy Coaching has been encouraged so far and said, “Both Robbie Hedderman and I at the Under 15s have seen Reis come in with a real desire to learn and develop his game.  This is vitally important when a player joins the academy at the later stages and this positive attitude is something that our scout Dave Watson highlighted to us before bringing him in on trial from Dyce Boys Club last year.  There was a lot of competition from Reis’s team mates and some other top performers during October, so he’ll be very proud of winning this award.”
