AFC Ladies Day, Saturday 30th September

30 August 2017

Aberdeen FC is delighted to announce that the first Ladies Day event of the season will take place on Saturday 30th September as we welcome St Johnstone to Pittodrie.

This event is now firmly established in the social calendars of ladies in the city and the Club is donating all monies raised on the day to be shared equally between two worthy local charities including Aberdeen FC Community Trust.

Aberdeen FC Community Trust is the football club’s official charity partner, working with local communities ‘to provide support and opportunity’.

Participants aged 3 to 100+ benefit from a wide range of activities addressing issues including health and wellbeing, disability, social inclusion and dementia.

AFCCT work with many local charities, delivering 150,000+ participations yearly.

Friends of ANCHOR will be the guest beneficiary charity as we bring a touch of glamour to the match-day experience.

2017 is a particularly special year for Friends of ANCHOR as it marks 20 years since the charity began, a charity with a vision to help make cancer and haematology care in the North-East of Scotland the best it can be.

Friends of ANCHOR exist to serve all those affected by a cancer diagnosis in the region, to raise funds over and above what NHS Grampian can provide to bring the very best treatment, care and support for North-East patients.

Every penny donated to Friends of ANCHOR goes directly to the cause as all of the charity’s running and administration costs are covered by Balmoral Group.

Our VIP Ladies Day attendees will enjoy pink champagne and cocktails on arrival, a delicious three course meal with wine and of course, the chance to win many exciting prizes, generously donated by the Ladies Day partners.

There is also the opportunity to meet and mingle with the first team players, so ‘dress to impress’ and support not only your local club but local charities.
