“It was nice to score with a header. It does not happen too often!

“I missed a good chance to score with my header last week so it good that I am improving on that.
“I think we started the game very well. Our tactics were spot on, especially the first half an hour. We knew that they were a very good passing side but I thought we countered them very well. Proof of that was with the first goal.

“The second half we struggled to get going a bit. First ten to fifteen minutes especially and it allowed them back into the game. They then came at us a bit and it was unfortunate to lose the goal. You can feel it, everyone goes down a bit.

“The reaction we showed after their goal was incredible. It was a very special strike from Graeme Shinnie and one we don’t see too often but I was delighted to see that one go in.

“It is a different game over there. Again it is the heat, you have to deal with that, we are playing at their place, we are going to be the team that has to accept having less of the ball and to play more of the game without possession. That means we have to be very switched on tactically.

“What is important though is the fact we have something to hold onto over there which is a bit different to last week, when we knew we had to go out and score. Tactically we will have to be switched on and will have to work as a team.

“The heat will be a factor but it is not a factor we are overly worried about because of how well we dealt with it last week. Our fitness is very high and we have trained well for a month. I would like to think our fitness is as good as anyone at this stage of the competition.”
