London Dons Join Saturday Ranks

The Rob Roy Reds London supporters club are looking for new players for the upcoming season.

Like Derek McInnes and the Dons this Summer, the Rob Roy Reds have been busy making some changes ahead of the new season.

For the first time in the club’s 17 year history, the London Dons will be competing in competitive Saturday afternoon football in an exciting new chapter for the club. The team have been elected to join the Amateur Football Combination one of Europe’s biggest amateur leagues! This will come as an addition to the Sunday team who will continue to participate in the London Supporters League.
Club President Gregor Smith stated:

”It’s fantastic to have two teams playing across the weekend, giving more opportunities for all London-based Dandies to get involved with the club. The Saturday league side have been placed in a high division and it will be a step-up in competition and we are hoping to recruit some fresh talent to help us along the way.”

“Our club caters for players of all abilities and with a healthy social side, I really would urge anyone moving to London to come and get involved.”
