“The transfer speculation has not really affected our build up.

“We are professional and prepare for every game the same way. It is a normal week and we have been working hard on the training ground.

“We can go there with a lot of confidence due to the form that we are in. The five wins and a couple of clean sheets in there as well. Don’t get me wrong, it will be very difficult as Celtic are in very good form themselves but we can still go there with confidence.

“We have proven that we can beat Celtic over the last couple of years and we have to believe we can do it again. We have to believe we can get the three points.

“I don’t think they will lose any focus just because they have beaten a record. As a player, you want to win every game you can. I am sure they will be focussed to do that. They know we will be tough opposition, we are going to be a threat to the streak that they are on, so they will be focussed.

“The cup final was very disappointing but we have put that behind us now. We have shown some good form recently and it is that we should be thinking about.

“It is one of the biggest games of the season against some of the best players. So, you want to go there and win.

“You want to play against the best players and perform well.

“Both teams are on form so it should be a good game to be involved in.”
