Cash Turnstiles

For this match only cash turnstiles will be made available for the South Stand (Turnstiles 7 & 8) and for the RDS Upper (Turnstiles 40 & 41) and will be open from 2pm on matchday.

Since the start of the 2015/16 season cash turnstiles have not been available but with a high number of “walk up” supporters anticipated for the traditional festive fixture the decision has been taken to put them in place for this match.

Derek Matthews, Customer Services Manager explained the reasoning behind the decision; “With the Ticket Office being closed in the two days prior to the match our supporters won’t have the same opportunity to purchase tickets for this fixture as they would normally have.

“Due to the timing of the match the Ticket Office will only be open for five hours and the reality is that most people will pitch up in the hour before the match. We can’t process the volume of people we will need to through the Ticket Office in that timeframe. That’s the difference between this and other fixtures.

“We also recognise that a lot of supporters might not think about the match until after Christmas is out of the way so it makes sense to give this additional option for late buyers.

“It’s something that we will look at for individual matches like this but we would always advise supporters to buy early to pick their seats and gain Loyalty Points for high priority matches. Where possible I would encourage supporters to buy online.

“We have done a lot of work on that front and the percentage of supporters buying online has increased dramatically over the past couple of years. Generally speaking when someone uses the system once they tend to use it for all ticket purchases going forward.”

Buy Online – Print@Home or Collect at Pittodrie

As ever our Print@Home service is available with a large percentage of match ticket buyers using this method frequently to purchase their match tickets.

With the postal cut-off point now passed for Tuesday’s match against Hamilton Accies at Pittodrie, it's an ideal way to beat the queues.

To use this facility simply log onto your eTickets account at afc.co.uk/eTickets, buy your tickets, and choose the print at home option when asked how you want them delivered.

You'll then be sent an Email with a link to access your print at home tickets. Follow the printing instructions and print them at your convenience. Fold the page twice as indicated to prepare your tickets for use at the turnstile.

Please note, designated turnstiles will be in operation for tickets that have been printed at home:

South Stand: Turnstile 12
Merkland Stand: Turnstile 22
Richard Donald Stand: Turnstile 38
