Post Match Quotes:

“It was definitely a game of two halves.

“In the first half Ross County were dominant, they were first to second balls and got us turning towards our own goals but in the second half I thought we were outstanding. We got them turning, we got the ball wide and got the goals in the end.

“We knew that the first half wasn’t good enough so we gathered round and had a word, the manager had a say as well and we knew what we had to go and do. We ended up winning the game quite comfortably in the end and we know that Ross County are a good team.

“When you are playing for a big club and not winning games you are entitled to get a bit of criticism but we know that we are good enough to turn things around and we are doing that at the moment.

“We have got to get back to basics by keeping clean sheets and taking chances when they come along. We are always entitled to get a bit of criticism when we are not doing well and the players know that themselves.

“We have got a great squad of players and at the start of the season the spirit was great. We obviously had a blip and then things were not quite as good and we felt a bit down because it seemed that everything was going against us but in the second half we showed the spirit that we have in that dressing room. To be a part of that, and to see the reaction of the fans and the players when the goals went in was great.

“We want to keep improving and working hard behind the scenes. We know that it’s a long old season and we just want to keep up picking up three points as much as we possibly can. We know that over the course of a season we will win more games than we will lose. Tonight we are just delighted with the three points today and we look forward to the trip to Dundee next week.
