29 December 2014

The season of goodwill continue for Dons fans with the news that two further members of the first team squad have extended their stay at Pittodrie, joining Adam Rooney, Niall McGinn, Lawrence Shankland and Scott McKenna, by signing extensions to their contracts.

Defender, Andy Considine, who is enjoying his testimonial year with the club, has put pen to paper on a 2 and a half year extension that see him remain with his hometown club until the summer of 2017.

Meanwhile, Jonny Hayes has committed his long term future to the club, signing a contract extension which will see him remain with the Dons until summer 2018.

Manager Derek McInnes is delighted to see two more key players extend their deals. “Both Jonny and Andy have shown a great deal of consistency in their play and a high level of performance in my time here as manager and I’m delighted they both see their future at this club, which is striving to deliver success.”

Both players will meet the media at 10.30am tomorrow ahead of our New Years Day match against St Johnstone. RedTV will bring you all the interviews first!
