Scott McKenna, Craig Storie and Scott Wright all involved this evening

Vauxhall Under-19 International Challenge Match
Scotland 2-2 Czech Republic
Tuesday 2nd September 2014, kick-off 7pm
Cappielow Park, Greenock
(Cardwell 19', 39'; Schick 43', 71')

Aberdeen’s Scott McKenna this evening captained the Scotland Under-19 side in the friendly match against the Czech Republic. Craig Storie also started the game whilst Scott Wright came off the bench in the second half.

A double from Reading striker Harry Cardwell was not enough to secure a win for Ricky Sbragia’s Scotland U19, as they drew 2-2 against the Czech Republic at Cappielow.

Two first half goals from Cardwell had given the Scots a 2-0 lead, but strikes on either side of half-time from Sparta Prague forward Patrik Schick ensured the honour were even in a competitive friendly at the home of Greenock Morton.

The match was Scotland’s final preparation before they jet off to Lithuania to kick-off their UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualifying campaign next month.
