AFC Community trust at Westhill

29 July 2014

AFC Community trust summer holiday programme was in full swing at Westhill.

Over 40 children are attending the camp in Aberdeenshire over three days where they get 6 hours coaching a day by AFC Community trust coaches. The kids were in high spirits as they learned new skills and put them into practice in small sided games.  Ahead of Aberdeen’s Europa League clash against Real Sociedad the youngsters showed their support for the team by wearing their new kits.  SFA Club Development Officer for AFC Community Trust Liam Duncan said: “It was great to see so many of the youngsters with the new Aberdeen kit on. The kids have spent the day practicing their new skills and playing plenty of fun games, with the hope of one day getting to play for Aberdeen. They are all excited to get to Pittodrie next Thursday to support the team against Real Sociedad, where hopefully the Dons will get a good result.”
