Only 2 tables remaining for AFC Ladies Day 2013

This season, Aberdeen FC will once again invite the ladies of Aberdeen to join them for an indulgent day out at the football as we welcome them to our distinguished AFC Ladies Day event.

On Saturday 31^st August we will be offering a decadently different day out at the football, providing a touch of glamour to the match-day experience as we welcome St Johnstone to Pittodrie.

We’ll wrap up the thrills and spills of 90 minutes on the pitch with classic cocktails courtesy of Malmaison, a sumptuous three course meal complete with wine and liqueurs and after the final kick of the ball, the VIP treatment doesn’t stop there as there will be exclusive prizes up for grabs, generously donated by our Ladies Day partners, as well as the opportunity to mingle with Aberdeen first team players.

To celebrate the occasion Aberdeen Football Club has joined forces with CLAN Cancer Support who provide wide ranging services, from the first signs of treatment and beyond, offering comfort for patients, carers and family members during what can be a difficult time for all.

Speaking about the charitable partnership, AFC Sales and Marketing Manager Lynne Duncan said: “The work undertaken by CLAN is absolutely crucial in terms of offering support and advice to those affected by cancer in the North East and Aberdeen Football Club is delighted and proud to assist in any way it can to maintain its profile and contribute in a small way towards the ongoing costs of sustaining this vital and much appreciated local service.”

CLAN Fundraising Manager, Susan Crighton continues: “We are incredibly grateful to be selected as the chosen charity for the AFC Ladies Day event in what is a special year for CLAN as we celebrate our 30^th anniversary.

“The event itself is already shaping up to be a fantastic day out and we hope the ladies can join us in celebrating our birthday alongside a Dons home win.”

Dons Captain Russell Anderson, Mark Reynolds and Niall McGinn joined Susan Crighton from CLAN as the club announced the news of our association with the charity for the 2013 AFC Ladies Day event.
