Designed to offer an exclusive custom-fit experience, the largest independent golf retail centre in the North-East has opened its third studio offering an unrivalled custom-fit service.

Added onto the two existing teaching studios, the golf centre now boasts 1,200 sq ft dedicated to teaching and custom fitting services and is the number one provider of custom-fit clubs with the largest selection in the North-east of Scotland.

The latest studio offers golfers the ability to custom fit clubs to an individual’s requirements from a broad selection of custom-fit club and club fitting carts.

Kings Links is in a unique position offering clubs and carts from a wider selection of leading brands, including TaylorMade, Callaway, Titleist, Ping, Cleveland, Wilson, Cobra, Nike and Mizuno, than any other golf outlet in the North-East.

Paul Girvan, director of golf at The Kings Links Golf Centre, said: “This investment has allowed us to be able to offer this exclusive service to our customers at all times without disrupting tuition taking place in our teaching studios.

“Custom fitting has become so popular that it is now unusual for someone to buy hardware without having it professionally fitted. We fully appreciate that feeling confident plays a large part in how a player performs. By providing our customers with equipment perfectly suited to them, we aim to increase their confidence and lead players to golfing greatness and are looking forward to assisting customers of all levels, from the beginner to the seasoned player.”

As part of the service, the centre offers golf ball tracking software with market leader Flightscope launch monitor installed in the studio, affording each of the centre’s PGA Professionals to fit customers for the correct head, shaft flex, shaft length, lie and loft.

Derek McInnes, Aberdeen Football Club’s manager, said: “It was a pleasure to be invited to unveil the new custom-fit studio and as a keen golfer I was hugely impressed by the service on offer. Aberdeen Football Club has had a long and positive relationship with Kings Links and many of our players practice their game at the centre. As professional sportsmen our players appreciate the high-quality service they receive.”

Kings Links Golf Centre features a 56-bay floodlit driving range and an award-winning 3,000 sq ft superstore stocking a wide range of golfing equipment from leading golf manufacturers.

This custom-fit service costs £30 per session which is refundable when purchasing customised clubs.
