Clydesdale Bank SPL | Pittodrie | 3.00pm KO | FT
Aberdeen took the lead on 10 minutes when Magennis found Hayes who crossed to give Niall McGinn a tap in at the back post. The Dons continued to play well for much of the half and had several other decent chances. Hearts hit the post and Langfield had to save a Sutton header that looked destined for the back of the net but the Dons lead at the break. They started the second half really well and on 55 minutes McGinn got his second after a great run down the left. The Dons had several chances to add to the scoring including a Magennis goal ruled out for offside but they held on to the 2-0 scoreline to give Craig Brown victory in his final game at Pittodrie as Dons manager.
