Aberdeen FC would like to thank the Pittodrie Bar who, in conjunction with the Pittodrie Bar Supporters Club, have been raising money for the AFC Youth Academy as well as charity Befriend A Child

. Pauline Duncanson, Proprietor of the Pittodrie Bar, came to AFC this week and presented the AFC Youth Academy with £180.

Befriend A Child Chief Executive, Karen Farquhar, said: “We are so grateful to all the staff and customers at the Pittodrie Bar for thinking of Befriend A Child. It is only through the continued support of local people and businesses here in Aberdeen that we are able to continue to work with the increasing numbers of vulnerable and underprivileged children in the local community who really need our help.”

The Pittodrie Bar are also holding a Gothenburg re-run night on Saturday 11th May, 30 years to the day of the actual game, from 7.30pm: more details can be found on the Pittodrie Bar Supporters Club Facebook page.
