Programme of the Year

RedMatchday Magazine has won the Scottish award sponsored by Programme Monthly.

The Scottish Awards is in its 40th season and Aberdeen have now won the SPL title for the last 12 years in a row. Motherwell finished second with Hearts in third.

We are especially grateful to all the Red Army members who continue to support the publication by buying it in large numbers, allowing us to respond to that loyalty by producing the best programme in the land.

Thanks go out to all our regular contributors – Craig Brown, Russell Anderson, Richard Gordon, Chris Crighton, George Rutherford, Ian Thomson, Sean Graham, John Mellis, Dave Macdermid, Andrew Morrison and the AFC Heritage Trust. Thanks also to our photographers (Newsline Scotland and SNSPix) and a particular thank you to artist Paine Proffitt for his fantastic paintings which have been used on the programme covers. Thank you too to all the programme sellers who get each issue into your hands.

The programme is produced by CurtisSport, designed by Bluechilli and edited by Malcolm Panton with historical content provided by Kevin Stirling.

Aberdeen also won the Northern Programme Club Independent View Magazine 2012/13 SPL award – the fifth success in the six years of the award.

Work is already underway to make next year’s programme even better.
