As a result of the current financial climate of football and the Scottish game in particular, Aberdeen Football Club recognises that its ability to compete lies with the development of young players brought through the Aberdeen Football Club Youth Academy programme.

The Youth Academy, launched in June 2006, encompasses the training and development of our talented youngsters aged 9 - 17 in a team environment.

The Academy's comprehensive development strategy combines physical coaching with other vital areas of education such as discipline, self-esteem and team spirit and places strong emphasis on communication with parents.
