Aberdeen travelled to Glasgow Green last Sunday on a cold, grey windy day to play Queen's Park. Aberdeen forced a corner early on taken, the ball was played back to Gordon but Condie closed down and Murray put it back in for a goalmouth scramble before the keeper caught it. Then a ball forward from Stout saw McLellan in a chase with the keeper but the Queen's Park stopper cleared well out of her box.

Queen's Park got a free kick 25 yards out right in the centre taken by Ferguson who sent it well over the crossbar. Aberdeen were lucky as a ball into the box was chased by two Queen's Park players against keeper Hutcheson one fired and Hutcheson blocked then the second miskicked before Hather cleared. Queen's Park attacked again as Myles played a ball forward but they were caught offside. A throw up the line was centred by McLellan for Sharon Scott who chested down and shot to see it go past the post. Queen's Park switched a ball to the left where Ferguson chased down closely marked by Murray who poked a toe in to conceded a corner.

Queen's Park sent it in hard and the strong wind carried it goal wards. Keeper Hutcheson got a hand to the ball but it was already over the line to give Queen's Park the lead in 10 minutes. Aberdeen had a chance with a long ball up the line McLellan chased then cut in and under severe pressure released a shot which the keeper put past the post. The corner was nodded down by McLellan to be collected by the keeper.

Aberdeen attacked again from a throw in as Gordon turned then put a pass into the box for Murray to run in one on one but the keeper was first to it. In another chance Hamill sent the ball wide left for Sharon Scott who took a stride then bent a shot just past the left hand post. Queen's Park won a throw on the left taken by McDonald to Duncan who kneed the ball straight to the Aberdeen keeper. Using the wind Queen's Park launched a ball long over most of the defence but sweeper Gilbert read it well and mopped up.

Aberdeen were denied a goal when Stout passed to McLellan who sent it on target but a clear hand ball from Jamieson was not given by the referee. Queen's Park went two up as McDonald chased a ball up the left wing then cut in to pass to Condie who tapped in the goal.

Another chance for the visitors saw McLellan finding herself one on one with the Queen's Park keeper and shot. The keeper made a great fingertip save then picked up. Some fine Work fro Sharon Scott saw her play it back to Murray who played back to Scott to lay off again to the advancing Murray who was then brought down for a foul. The free kick was played in but too close to the keeper who caught it. The Reds won a series of throws then a corner. Sent out by Stout the keeper punched out just on half time.

Half Time - QP 2 - Aberdeen 1 Murray won the ball wide right before crossing to the back post where Gordon narrowly missed being in a scoring position. Aberdeen got one back 10 minutes into the half as Hamill attacked down the left then passed into Sharon SCOTT who dodged a defender then placed a right foot shot low into the right hand corner.

Queen's Park countered the next minute as McDonald picked up wide left then ran half the park up the left then cut inside to fire a shot past Hutcheson. Aberdeen won a corner which was taken by Eaglesham to McLellan's head who nodded to Hamill who had a shot blocked then the referee awarded a free kick to Queen's Park.

Aberdeen won a free kick taken by Eaglesham to Hamill who headed down to Murray who shot but it was deflected out for a corner. Hamill won the ball in the centre circle for McLellan who shot past the post. Then from a free kick taken by Eaglsham Queen's Park knocked it down for Aberdeen's Gordon to strike but it went well over the crossbar.

Aberdeen got a second goal on 30 minutes as ball went wide to Sharon Scott who placed a cross to the back post for McLELLAN to head in. Queen's Park countered as Ferguson took the ball wide left then ran forward and chipped to Condie who was offside Aberdeen missed out as Gordon sent long to Sharon Scott who went one on one with the keeper who once again got a hand to it before picking up. Queen's Park won a free kick 40 yards out taken by Condie but Hather rose unchallenged to head out. Eaglesham was replaced by Bradford who received a throw from Gilbert then chipped the defence only to find Scott offside.

Aberdeen equalised after Murray ran onto a long ball on the right and crossed low and hard for McLELLAN to pass into the net.

Clelland was put on to replace Stout. Queen's Park pressed several times but each time the Aberdeen defence was up to the test. Murray won the ball on the half way line then McLellan and Sharon Scott played between them before Scott tried a shot which was blocked.
