The Dons latest arrival Daniel Uchechi made his Pittodrie debut in our goalless draw with St Johnstone last weekend.

Danny spoke to RedTV about his experiences so far...

"I think you can see there has been quality in the two games I have played so far. Dumfries last Tuesday was a difficult place to go to but we showed determination to come through that and got a good result out of it. The team performance wasn't the best and not what the manager expects from us both personally and as a team. We got the result though which is the most important thing and we just have to kick-off from there.

"Personally there is a challenge for me because I know now what standard and level is expected of me and I am just glad I am getting the minuets to get to the fitness level required and to do things with the ball and run at people. For me, my goal now is to get back to full fitness and once I get there I think the rest will come in terms of getting the ball and doing more with it. Obviously when I come on I'm expected to do as much as I can and to help the team which I will do whenever I get the chance to play.

"I think all credit is due to the back four and as a team defending but we need to start scoring goals to take off the pressure on our defending as well. Defending and not scoring is quite a risky game because one goal from the other team means a loss. We need to keep trying to find ways to break down teams and take our chances and create chances which is what we need to do.

"I am not sure why we have so many injuries but I am sure the medical team are experienced enough to handle it and find the solution for it. It was unfortunate to lose Stephen Hughes as early as we did against St. Johnstone because he is one of the guys we needed to play the ball and pass the ball and keep us going but hopefully it is not that bad and he is back with the team soon.

"I luckily haven't been on the receiving end of any practical jokes yet. The whole team and staff are very friendly people and very accommodating which is what you need as a footballer to settle wherever you go.

"Right now my whole aim is to try and get in the team and playing regularly and when I do that hopefully I will impress. When I am playing I am not thinking about the contract, I just want to get the best out of myself. I know what I can do and I am trying hard to achieve that goal of producing what I am capable of on the football pitch."
