Aberdeen stopper Andrew Considine urges Pittodrie hitkid Fraser Fyvie to reconsider his decision to snub new deal
ANDREW CONSIDINE knows Dons got out of jail on Saturday as they dodged another woeful cup exit but the Pittodrie ace fears there will be no escaping the fall-out if wonderkid Fraser Fyvie departs the club.
Considine has never known cup success at Aberdeen - only the scathing criticism that followed shock defeats to lower-league opponents Queen's Park, Dundee, Dunfermline, Raith Rovers and East Fife.
The 19-year-old made it clear last week that he wants to head to England when his contract expires at the end of the year and Considine insists that will prove a major blow to Aberdeen.

Scottish Cup: Aberdeen 1 - 1 QoS: Tough replay awaits Dons
ABERDEEN came from behind to earn a replay against Queen of the South in the fifth round of the William Hill Scottish Cup.
Scott McLaughlin netted against the run of play after 54 minutes to give the Doonhamers hope of pulling off a shock against their top flight rivals. However Scott Vernon scrambled the ball home after 67 minutes following a long Kari Arnason throw-in to keep alive the Dons' hopes of reaching the quarter-finals.
Aberdeen, who were without new signings Gavin Rae, who was cup-tied, and Danny Uchechi, who picked up a knock in training, made two changes from the side that defeated Dunfermline with Stephen Hughes and Rory Fallon coming in for the injured Clark Robertson and Josh Magennis, who dropped to the bench.
However, Aberdeen's Ryan Jack is confident his team can make amends in the replay.
Jack said: "There is obviously a certain level of expectation with the fans up here and we should be beating Queen of the South at home."
He added: "It will be a tough game to go down there for a replay. It is up to us to create things and score and hopefully we can put it right."

Aberdeen 1 Queen of the South 1: Pittodrie side fail to fire as visitors dig in to earn replay
The build up to the latest tie involving Aberdeen and Queen of the South had been beset by anecdotes from that famous - or infamous depending on who you spoke to - tie which the Dumfries side edged 4-3. This one will not linger quite as long in the memory, though.
Queens were resilient and determined and they got their reward when Scott McLaughlin nudged them ahead early in the second half. Their intransigence was broken eventually but the first division club will have noted that Scott Vernon's prodded equaliser was a rare moment of angst, and resulted from a throw-in rather than a flowing passage of play.

ABERDEEN SKIPPER ANDREW CONSIDINE URGES FRASER FYVIE TO STAY LONGER AT DONS
ABERDEEN captain Andrew Considine fears youngster Fraser Fyvie has been too hasty in deciding he wants to quit Pittodrie for England.
The 18-year-old, who played in the weekend Scottish Cup draw with Queen of the South, has told the Dons he won't be signing a new contract and plans to move south at the end of the year, when his contract expires.
Considine reckons he would be better served finishing off his apprenticeship at Aberdeen and has warned him the grass isn't always greener - citing frustrated Derby County star Chris Maguire as the perfect example.

'Aberdeen FC won't blow replay'
Craig Brown defiant after draw against Queen of the South
DEFIANT Aberdeen FC boss Craig Brown today promised angry fans that they will make up for their latest Scottish Cup shocker.
Aberdeen FC fans reacted furiously to seeing their favourites held to a fifth-round 1-1 draw by lowly Queen of the South - second bottom of the First Division - at Pittodrie.
Brown described their performance as "embarrassing" but insisted they would make amends and book their place in the quarter-finals when the teams meet again in Dumfries next week.
Considine feared the worst when Aberdeen FC went behind
Thoughts of 2008's cup defeat loomed large
DEFENDER Andy Considine today revealed he feared a repeat of 2008's humiliating Scottish Cup semi-final exit to Queen of the South.
Stand-in skipper Considine was the only player in Aberdeen FC's starting 11 to have played in that 4-3 Hampden shocker.
When Queen of the South went 1-0 up at Pittodrie the Aberdeen FC stopper suffered deja vu.
Aberdeen FC's Clark could be out for four weeks
Hamstring problem for Chris
ABERDEEN FC today admitted they are worried Chris Clark has become the latest player to be sidelined by a hamstring injury.
Clark could be sidelined for at least a month after catching his studs in the Pittodrie turf during the first half of their 1-1 draw with Queen of the South.
Aberdeen FC also lost midfielders Isaac Osbourne and Peter Pawlett to hamstring injuries when they beat Forfar Athletic in the previous round. Kari Arnason, Andrew Considine and Darren Mackie are among others to have hamstrings problems in the past.

Vernon goal prevents case of deja vu for Dons
Aberdeen can consider themselves fortunate to still have an interest in the Scottish Cup as Queen of the South came mighty close to inflicting another cup disaster on the Dons at Pittodrie on Saturday.
For 12 minutes it was the Hampden semi-final of 2008 all over again as the First Division side led Craig Brown's team and looked on course for the quarter-finals.
