This year's Winter Football Festival was the perfect way for the Dons mad youngsters to get back in action and run off some steam after a busy festive period.

On the 5th and 6th of January, with the new school term just around the corner there was one last treat before the school books and homework took over.

The children had a chance to learn and hone new skills with expert coaching sessions from our AFC community coaches. Like all AFC community courses the focus was on skill development, small-sided games and most importantly... having fun!

The youngsters were also treated to a visit from Dons stars Josh Magennis and Fraser Fyvie for a bit of inspiration and advice, Fyvie being a past participant on one of the AFC ran courses.

A fantastic time was had by all the participants and we hope to have the same success in the next holiday coaching programme.

AFC community coaching run courses throughout the school term. For more information on the after school coaching click here.
