Dons striker Scott Vernon recently paid a visit to Inverurie Supporters Club where he was kindly presented with the John Nicol Trophy for being their elected Player of the Year for the 2010/2011 season.

Scott is pictured receiving the award from John Nicol, who donated the trophy to the supporters club in memory of his late father.

Scott was joined on the evening by fellow representatives from Pittodrie; Chairman Stewart Milne, manager Craig Brown, Director Chris Gavin and club secretary David Johnston. All five took part in a lengthy question and answer session with the supporters club covering a variety of topics including the development of the new stadium.

This event marked the first of many AFC road-shows which we will be hosting throughout the country to assist in keeping the fans updated with current and future developments at the football club.
