AFC Junior Matchday Club returned on Saturday ahead of the Dons game against Dundee United and was again a huge success.

We teamed up with Aberdeen Sports Village to offer our young Dons supporters the chance to enjoy the ultimate matchday experience with a coaching session at the Sports Village prior to kick-off at Pittodrie.

AFC coaches were on hand to teach the footy mad youngsters some silky soccer skills and tricks and there was also a visit from Angus the Bull.

Once the kids had finished warming up with our coaches they were all set for the big match at Pittodrie with every youngster being provided with a ticket for our Merkland Family Stand to enjoy an action packed 90 minutes of SPL football.

Every participant also received an AFC goody to take along to the game to show the Dons their support.

We are delighted to announce that Junior Matchday Club will be returning for five further events this season.
