Aberdeen this afternoon completed the signing of another player from their Youth Academy.

Craig Murray comes from Bellshill near Motherwell and has been with the club since he was 10 years old.

Craig is a product of the Glasgow Centre which is run by Peter Weir and joins recent captures Declan McManus and Stephen O'Neil who have both made appearances for the U19s this season.

Neil Simpson told RedWeb "Craig is a skilful hard working midfield player with bundles of energy. He is another player who has come right through the system after starting with us at a young age.

"The signing again highlights the fantastic work Peter is doing in Glasgow and I know he is delighted that another one of his youngsters is making the step to full time football

"Craig has taken a big step today to fulfil his dream of being a professional footballer. We all wish him well."
