Scott Ross has this afternoon joined Scottish League Division Two side Peterhead on loan.

Scott signed the documents and has been registered for a Standard Temporary Transfer. This will expire at the start of January 2011.

The central defender was captain of the U19 side last season and had a fine campaign. The 18-year-old Aberdeen born defender broke through into the first team set up in season 2009/10 when former Aberdeen FC boss Jimmy Calderwood named him on the bench four times. Last season he also appeared on the bench for the first team.

Yesterday Scott Bain also went out on loan joining Elgin City.
