Post Match Reaction from Peterhead
Mark McGhee spoke to RedWeb after the game at Peterhead this afternoon.
"I thought there was more legs about it today. We had a bit more running in us today. We have been working really hard in training each day, mornings and afternoons, all week. Maybe yesterday we suffered a bit from that plus the boys were only put together for the first time. Grant Basey did not even know the names of the other lads as he had not trained with us so it is difficult to go out and have a cohesive performance.
"Yesterday, regardless of what anyone thinks, we have heart monitors on the players and we know they all worked hard so there was something gained at Fraserburgh apart from seeing the trialists and seeing what they are like and seeing what type of players they are and seeing what they can bring to it.
"That has been repeated today and we have put it together a little bit better. We have won the game but it is not any more significant than the result against Fraserburgh. It really isn't. We got something out of the game yesterday and we got something out of the game today.
"All the trialists are different with different qualities. They have all done quite well and have all given us something to think about."
