SIX possible new signings
Aberdeen will have six trialists on show over the weekend as Mark McGhee continues his search for new players as he rebuilds his squad for the start of the season.
All six are likely to get a run out at either of the Dons first pre-season matches against Fraserburgh on Saturday (3.00pm) or Peterhead on Sunday (2.00pm).
A number of them have been with the Dons this week at training.
The six players on show are:
Conor Okus - Aberdeen took the former West Ham midfielder on trial when the players returned for pre-season last week. The 18 year old is a central midfielder. Conor is a product of the West Ham Academy and was part of their youth team last season.

Grant Basey - the 21 year old defender is a Wales Under-21 internationalist who played for Charlton Athletic last season. Grant is left sided and has represented his country at U17, U19 and U21 level. A youth player at Charlton he broke into the first team at The Valley in 2007.

Yoann Folly - The 25 year old played for France at youth level before making his senior debut for Togo in 2008. Yoann was a team mate of Steve MacLean and Jim Paterson at Plymouth Argyle last season. The defensive midfielder started his career at Saint-Étienne before he was brought to the UK by Gordon Strachan who was the then Southampton manager. Paul Sturrock then took him to Sheffield Wednesday. The ex Dundee United striker actually worked with Yoann at three clubs.

Jeff Smith - the 30 year old is a left sided and plays in midfield. The experienced player started his career in the north east of England with Hartlepool United in 1998. In 2001 he impressed Sam Allardyce and signed a contract with Bolton following their promotion to the FA Premier League that season. After spending some time out on loan he signed for Port Vale. More recently he has played for Carlisle United and Darlington.

Robbie Williams - the 25 year old left back or left midfield came through the youth ranks with Barnsley, playing over fifty first-team games before Andy Ritchie took him to Huddersfield Town, where he has been for the past three seasons. Williams was named the League One Player of the Month for November 2009. He has played over 70 games for the West Yorkshire side who narrowly missed out on promotion to the Championship after losing in the play-offs.

Adnan Ahmed - the Pakistan international is also on trial at Pittodrie this week. The 26-year-old played for Hungarian National Championship side Ferencvaros last season. Adnan is a former Manchester United trainee and has been capped 13 times for Pakistan and competed in last year's South Asian Football Federation Cup. Adnan is a midfielder.
