Hamilton 1
Paixao (62)

Aberdeen 1
Diamond (76)

After a disappointing first forty five minutes the second half produced a couple of goals as the teams shared the points.

Hamilton had the better of the first period as the Dons struggled to get going playing a 4-3-3 formation. Despite that Cerny made a fine save to prevent Mulgrew scoring from another free-kick.

Just before half time the Dons changed to a 4-4-2. After the break Aberdeen started well and appeared to be taking control when the home side grabbed the lead. Paixao did the damage when he headed an Easton corner past Langfield in the 62nd minute.

Zander Diamond, celebrating his 200th appearance for the club, was the Dons hero when he levelled in the 76th minute. Mulgrew played a short free kick to MacLean and he found Diamond in the box where he produced a brilliant left foot strike to beat the impressive Cerny in the Hamilton goal.

After that the game burst into life. Aberdeen should have gone ahead when a good move down the right send Mackie free. The substitute did well to drive into the box and his cross was inches away from MacLean. Hamilton also had a couple of good chances at the death so the Dons won't be too upset with the point.

Aberdeen: Langfield, Paterson, Foster, McDonald, Mulgrew, Diamond, Young, Kerr, MacLean, Paton, Aluko.

Hamilton: Cerny, Easton, McLaughlin, van Zanten, Canning, Elebert, Mensing, McArthur, Imrie, Neil, Paixao.
