English championship side Watford have confirmed they have completed the signing of Aberdeen captain Scott Severin. The 30 year old was out of contract this summer and therefore free to speak to other clubs.

Arguably Aberdeen's best signing for many years Scott joined the club five years ago as Jimmy Calderwood's first signing.

During the course of his time at Pittodrie Sevy has been inspirational in both the Aberdeen midfield and defence, clocking up 195 appearances for the Dons. He also made 15 international appearances.
