Powerful defender Jerel Ifil Joined Aberdeen on the 12th August 2009 from Swindon Town, following an impressive 90 minute trial against Hull City in Dean Windass' Textimonial.
He joined Swindon Town permanently in June 2004 in a £70,000 switch after enjoying three loan spells with Town previously from 2002-04.
Jerel became a fan's favourite during his brief stays in Wiltshire and signed on a permanent basis in June 2004.
He benefitted from a partnership alongside the experience of Ady Williams in the middle of defence during the promotion season of 2006/07 season and scored a vital day on the last day of that season against Walsall.
'The Beast' as he is affectionately known to the Swindon faithful, has now played over 100 games in a Town shirt and signed a new three-year contract in May 2007.
Ifil is the brother of former Spurs defender Phil, now with Colchester, and the pair faced each other during the League One game at The County Ground in August 2008.
